Recently a friend reclaimed this little seat from the side of the road and sent it to me and said, "Give it new life". So David cut a board for the seat so that I could recover it. I found a great fabric for $7.00 a yard but I really only needed 1/2 yard so it was around $3.50. I decided to paint it black. The black I use is very forgiving of scratches and wear. So here is the finished project:
We are a family of five, evolving and changing as we grow together to become a unit. Our Captain, works/lives 100 miles away during the week. The boys and I work to maintain the homefront. Raising chickens, gardening, attending school and athletics. I started Nursing School this year - just to add to the chaos....

Love, love, love this stool. My mom had one like this way back in the day that matched her bedroom set. The fabric choice and black paint really gives it a whole new life!
